Tag Swap

I have been participating in a great tag swap for several months. It is so much fun to receive 20 fabulous tags each month. I hope all the other participants enjoy my tags as much as I love theirs. If you haven't tried a swap, you are missing out on loads of creativity and sharing. Look for one on the blogs today and have fun. Here are my two tags for this month. I think they turned out pretty good. They will be in the mail tomorrow heading for California!

Blog Design

Finally I have time to sit down and play with my blog. However this blog designing can give a person gray hair. We are having a class at the library in a few days on creating your own scrapbooking blog. Guess who is supposed to help teach it? I think I feel a headache coming on!!!!

Halloween Scrapbooking Party

Tonight is my annual Stampin Up Halloween party. I really am not ready. Been out of town for a few days at a convention instead of cleaning house and making treats. Take a look at the picture below. It shows one of my tags from the October tag swap with Velma of Creatively Outta Control. Mine is the one that says spooky with the pumpkin and skeleton. I like the way it turned out. What do you think?

Fall Craft Show

Yesterday was the annual fall craft show in Atchison, Kansas. My friend Gena and I have had a booth there for several years. This year we went totally spooky Halloween. it was a great success. They loved our mini albums and altered books,but we totally sold out of our mini spooky hat creations. Gena made hers out of paper cups! We could have sold a lot more so we will be starting early for next year's show! Here is a picture from the show.

Something New to Share

I have some new creations to share today. A friend and I are in a Halloween tag swap and these are my two entries. I used two of Tim Holtz's embossing folders and several of my old Halloween stamps. Then distressed everything with Tim's distress inks. I like the way they turned out. What do you think?

This next project is for a scrapbooking class I am teaching at my local library. I cased this card from Happy Life Crafty Wife's blog. She has some great ideas for Halloween! I changed it up a little and just used what I had on hand for paper and embellishments. The stamps are from the $1 bin at Michael's. They are really cute! My lighting was really off in this picture but you get the idea!
